Once upon a time in a small house, a son-in-law visited his mother-in-law. While she made flatbreads (rotis), he counted them without her knowing. When she asked how many rotis, he confidently said there were twenty-one, surprising her. Today we are going to discuss”Damad to King: Humble Hero’s Journey Unveiled” He claimed to have special knowledge, setting the stage for his journey from an ordinary damad (son-in-law) to a king.

The story took a turn when the chief’s  Damad horse went missing, and the son-in-law, now known as Tidda, claimed to know where it was. The chief, impressed by Tidda’s ability, tested him with a toad in a closed fist. Tidda correctly described the toad, earning the chief’s trust. Tidda’s extraordinary skills led him to become the chief’s royal advisor.

However, Tidda faced a challenge from the former advisor Damad who wanted his position back. The former advisor devised a plan to drop the roof on the king at night. Tidda, aware of the plot, saved the king by lifting his legs from under the falling roof. Grateful, the king asked how to repay him.

Tidda suggested placing a victory crown on the roof, and Damad the true winner would be revealed the next day. The former advisor, attempting to take credit, placed a snake in the crown. Tidda struck the crown, and the snake revealed itself. Convinced of Tidda’s abilities, the king declared him the new ruler.

Tidda, now the humble and wise king, appointed the former Damad king as his prime minister. His journey from a son-in-law to a benevolent ruler showcased his remarkable wisdom and humility, earning the admiration of the people. And so, the tale concludes with Tidda’s extraordinary transformation from damad to the beloved king of the kingdom.
