Despite facing famine, he held onto his money, claiming that spending it wastefully was against divine rules. His wife pleaded with him to use the money for their survival, but he stubbornly clung to his wealth, leaving his family in dire straits.

As the years passed, the miserly man grew older and started worrying about Grave what would happen to his money after he died. His wife explained that, according to tradition, his children would inherit everything. This troubled him, as he thought his kids were not worthy of his hard-earned wealth.

He proposed a plan involving a fake beggar and a made-up story to ensure the miser’s wealth remained his even after death.

Despite initially doubting the imposter, the miser fell for the deception. The trickster spun tales of divine blessings and the ability to use wealth beyond the grave. The miser, swayed by flattery and false promises, confided in the imposter, sharing his worries about the fate of his money.

Eventually, the imposter revealed his true identity, but instead of exposing him,  Grave the miser chose to believe in the imposter’s extraordinary solution. As the miser’s health deteriorated, the trickster suggested a peculiar burial ritual.

Upon the miser’s death, the imposter, along with the family, buried him with the iron chest filled with wealth. Strangely, cries and a fiery light erupted from the grave, exposing the imposter turning into dust. The iron chest, untouched by the elements, revealed the miser’s wealth and a note explaining the entire charade.

The note clarified that, despite the miser’s flaws, he sought divine help to protect his wealth. Realizing the gravity of the situation, the imposter returned the wealth to the family, exposing the deceptive plot.

Initially furious, the miser’s wife eventually understood her husband’s intentions. Reflecting  Grave on the true meaning of wealth and legacy, she decided to fulfill his last wish and distribute the wealth among their children, trusting them to use it wisely.

The people in the village found out about the tricky situation with the greedy person. They learned an important lesson about not believing in things too easily and being careful in making decisions.
