The Greed of Big Brands

Everything is declining in Pakistan. Today I agreed to go to a famous shoe store. When I took a pair of sandals worth a few thousand rupees, the gentleman sitting at the counter very shamelessly asked, “Do you want a bag?”

I was silent for two minutes wondering what this question was. I said, “What is there to ask about it?” Bhai Sahib regretted the shamelessness without saying that it is for money.

I thought for a minute, give me 30 rupees. But then there was a voice from inside that these shoe brands are cheating billions and they can’t provide a 30 rupees bag?

They should be shown a mirror if they have come down to cynicism. So now I told this brother that tell the company not to give this shoe box to the customer and hand over the shoes. This might save the company some money. I gave the box to them and brought the shoes in my hand.
