Once upon a time, an unemployed young man ventured out in search of a job. Initially, he faced rejection, but then, witnessing his dire situation, a peculiar offer was extended to him – the job of a monkey. Young Man: A job as a monkey?

Incharge: Yes.
Young Man: But why? I don’t understand.
Incharge: It’s a matter of intellect, my friend.
The next day, the reluctant youth showed up for his peculiar job.
Incharge: Wear this costume, sit in the cage, and yes, don’t forget to mimic the monkeys. Oh, and throw in a bit of acrobatics for the children.
As days passed, the young man, though disheartened, found solace in the little bread he earned. But one day, children arrived, bringing sweets and even some money.
Incharge: Here’s your share. And by the way, add a bit more flair to your somersaults next time.
Time went by. The young man, though troubled, started to appreciate the small joys that came with his peculiar job.
One day, as he performed an exceptionally long jump, he missed his mark and fell into a nearby lion’s cage. Panic ensued, and the lion roared. Strangely, the lion, sensing the fear in the young man, approached him calmly.
Lion: (whispering) Idiot, it’s done for today. We can continue this act tomorrow.
The bewildered young man realized that the lion had caught on to the act. As he was about to be released from his predicament, the lion approached him.
Lion: Foolish monkey, our job ends here, go back to your cage.
The young man, now fully understanding the charade, returned to his cage.
Incharge: Well done! You’ve got your job back.
The young man, realizing the intelligence of the lion, couldn’t help but smile at the absurdity of his newfound occupation.
Moral of the story: Sometimes, life presents us with challenges that seem absurd, but within them, we might find unexpected camaraderie and moments of joy.
