First, he went to the city square and told the workers, “Who wants to work with me? I’ll pay each of you three hundred rupees!” At first, people laughed because it seemed too good to be true. One person even said, “Workers usually get eight hundred rupees. Why are you offering so little?”

But Sheikh Sahib didn’t give up. He kept inviting them to work with him. Slowly, some tired workers who couldn’t find jobs decided to take a chance. Three old workers, who looked really tired and desperate, went up to  Sahib.

They talked to him, saying, “Let’s work with you. It’s better than having no job. We can earn something to get by.”  Sahib was moved by their sincerity. He took them to a store, gave them food and money, and said they could go home. He felt accomplished because he helped them.

The next day,  Sahib came back to the same spot and repeated his offer. This time, more people were ready to work. They got on his truck, excited to have a job. Sheikh Sahib made sure they worked until evening and paid each of them three hundred rupees, just like he promised.

Over the weeks,  Sahib continued to provide work for the laborers, making sure they were paid for their efforts. His idea turned the city square from a sad place into a busy one with lots of work and opportunities.

On the last day of their work together,  Sahib gave each worker an extra bonus of three hundred rupees. He said, “Forget the troubles. A sheikh remains a sheikh.” This means that no matter what problems they faced, he wanted them to remember the good times.

This story teaches us that one person can make a big difference.  Sahib showed us that being kind and helping others, even in small ways, can bring positive changes to many lives. So, let’s remember  Sahib’s story and try to be kind to others, too.
