The Tale of Self-Discovery: Embracing Individual Strengths
Once upon a time, a wise man’s car broke down near a village. Determined to seek help, he entered the village and encountered an elderly man sitting on a charpai (cot) with hens pecking at grains nearby. Among the hens was a young eagle, mimicking their behavior. Astonished, the wise man approached the elderly man and inquired about the peculiar sight.

The elderly man explained that the eagle was originally a wounded chick he found on a mountain. Nursing it back to health, he placed it among the hens. The eagle, upon opening its eyes for the first time, identified itself with the chicks and learned to peck at grains. The wise man was intrigued and requested to have the eagle as a gift or to buy it. The village elder generously agreed, and after fixing his car, the wise man took the eagle home.
Every day, the wise man would throw the young eagle off a high mountain, urging it to recognize its true identity as a bird of prey. The young eagle, however, would cower and imitate the hens by tucking its head between its wings whenever it felt the fear of falling. Undeterred, the wise man persisted, encouraging the eagle to spread its wings and soar.
Eventually, the day arrived when the young eagle took flight. It soared higher and higher, realizing its innate abilities. Overjoyed, the wise man congratulated the eagle and remarked on its untapped potential. The eagle, now confident and self-aware, expressed gratitude for the guidance.
The wise man drew a parallel between this tale and the challenges faced by the people of his nation. He emphasized that, much like the eagle, they possess incredible capabilities bestowed by a higher power. However, the constant negative narratives surrounding them, fueled by media and societal perceptions, hinder their self-realization.
