The Importance of Namaz

A man came to his wife after Isha’s prayer and found his children sleeping. He asked his wife whether the children had prayed or not. The wife said that I did not have food, so I did not pray because I made them slip away. The husband said to pick them up so that they can pray.  He said if I pick them up, they will cry because of hunger. The husband said that Allah has ordered me that I should lead them in prayer and their sustenance is not my responsibility.

Allah says: And commands your family members to pray and adhere to it, We do not demand any sustenance from you, We will provide sustenance for you, and the good end is piety. (The children’s) mother obeyed and raised the children.

When they finished the prayer, there was a knock at the door. A rich man was carrying a table with delicious food on it. Jao’s father asked what is the matter. Ghani told me that a big man from the city had come to me. I had prepared this food for him. He left, so I picked up this food and walked and said, I will give this food to the servant near whom my steps stopped.

My steps stopped but at your door and by Allah, I do not know what brought me to your door. Father raised his hands at the same time and began to pray, O my Lord! Make me an establisher of prayer and also from among my children, O our Lord! And accept my prayer. Amen Subhan Allah
